Scott C.’s Great Showdowns.

Scott C.’s affluent sensibility of pop culture is, in a word, remarkable.  Looking through the pieces that make up his “Great Showdowns” oeuvre (just one of many projects Scott is involved in) one begins to glimpse the honest passion that Scott seems to divine his work out of and from that honesty Scott captures the soul of pop culture.  The result is always happiness and beauty.

Scott has a brand new show opening, “The Return of the Great Showdowns,” this Friday, September 21st at Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles.  Not only will a multitude of the Great Showdown pieces be on display but advance copies of Scott’s brand new book of the same subject will be available.
