Brett Amory.

Brett Amory’s solo show “Twenty-four in New York" opens this Saturday, June 29th at Jonathan LeVine Gallery in New York City.  Along with brand new paintings based on New York City, Amory filmed 40 different locations around New York City at every hour of the day.  These locations will be projected on a 24 square grid corresponding to the hour of the day in which they were shot - representing a day in the life of New York City.  Brett Amory, as far as I’m concerned, is absolutely one of the top artists making work in the world right now.  He encompasses so much and so well, yet simplifies it to it’s basic elements - which shows Amory’s mastery of complexity.  See more from the show below:
