Earthly Delights

My contribution to the upcoming Supersonic Electronic Invitational 2 show at Spoke Art gallery in San Francisco. One off digital painting, printed on cotton rag stock, mounted on board- varnished and framed, 17x20”. Top is the final image and below are some progress shots taken from my Instagram feed. First is a small thumbnail image, just to generate some ideas, the next 2 are hi res working screen grabs and lastly- the final piece framed up ready to ship.

The Supersonic Interview: Tom Bagshaw

Tom Bagshaw’s paintings (They’re digital but they’re still paintings) bring forth images of the recondite space just beyond that eerie threshold in the distance.  Most times the step into this world, Tom’s world, conjures haunted visions of elegant, bewitching females in the midst of their own magic.  These witch’s strengths are not elusive and grasp the viewers attention tightly while casting their spell.  And you think, somewhere in the back of your mind, that you don’t mind being enchanted by such beautiful things.  That, perhaps, this is what you mostly wanted.

Tom Bagshaw’s “Hallowed Age.”

This piece, one my most favorite of Bagshaw’s, is now available as an extremely limited edition print.  The 16” x 19” archival giclee is printed on 310 gsm, woodstock felt cotton rag and comes with a certificate of authenticity.  The edition is limited at 25 prints so hurry and get yours in Tom’s shop as they will be going incredibly fast.
